Orthodontic Retainers

Orthodontic retainers for teeth are usually worn in the last phase of an orthodontic treatment to stabilise their position. Even once the braces have been removed, teeth can possibly move back to their original position. This is why retainers are so important.

At Dentologicum we either provide our patients with fixed wire retainers, that are permanently attached to the straightened teeth, or removable clear retainers, that are usually worn over night to help maintain the position of aligned teeth. We at Dentologicum advise you accordingly which type of retainer is most suitable for your individual needs. Either version of retainer is fabricated to the highest standard in our specialised orthodontic laboratory.

We also provide replacements for lost, detached, broken or misplaced retainers.
